Definition:
Silica Insulating Refractories Bricks refer to heat-insulating refractory products made of silica as the main raw material and with an SiO2 content of not less than 91%. In addition to the thermal insulation properties of Insulating silica bricks, it maintains the characteristics of silicon bricks to a large extent. The starting temperature of load softening is high, and the volume expands slightly during the heating process, which enhances the integrity of the kiln. The manufacture of siliceous Insulating silica bricks uses finely pulverized silica as the raw material, adding part of the waste silica bricks or waste siliceous Insulating silica bricks powder, mineralizers and burnout additives. Add water to the mixer according to a certain proportion to mix into a mud, which is formed by mechanical or manual molding. After the brick is dried, the residual moisture is less than 0.5% before it can be loaded into the kiln. In order to prevent the violent volume expansion due to the polycrystalline transformation of SiO2, causing cracks in the product, a slower temperature rise and fall speed are required during firing.

Application:
Silica Insulating Refractories Bricks are used in the blast furnace blast area and communicate with the blast furnace exhaust. The light silicon bricks have a temperature range of 1000 ~ 1300 ℃. Can meet the whole cycle life of hot blast stove
Silica Insulating Refractories Bricks are also used in the partition walls of the carbonization and combustion chambers of coke ovens, the regenerators and slag chambers of open hearth furnaces, soaking furnaces, glass melting furnaces, refractory materials and ceramic firing kilns. There are also vaults and other load-bearing parts for kilns. It is also used for the high-temperature load-bearing part of hot blast stove and the top of acidic open hearth furnace.
